"For me, I like to be a little bit tomboy but still look like a lady. Pretty tough. Or really, really, really pretty." - Hailey Baldwin
It is always exciting to meet a new client, especially one who comes to me from a previous client referral, but my first meeting with Tristen was one I'll always remember. She came in looking gorgeous, with little effort and was ready to show me the outfits she had put together. I knew immediately that we were going to make magic together! I could tell she was really into the process and was truly excited for her senior session, which is the absolute best way to insure some wonderful portraits. While my skills behind the camera and on the computer can make a picture look good; it is the personality, joy, and excitement of the client that make a picture great. On top of choosing outfits and getting to know her, we also dug through the garage a bit to see all of the "toys" that we could incorporate into her session. With all of our ideas swirling, we quickly came to the decision that she would need 2 sessions; one in the Summer and one in the Fall to highlight all she wanted to show. Because of this, we were also able to create two different types of images. The first session was more editorial, while the second was closer to a traditional senior shoot with a bit of my style thrown in. The variety includes nature, her dad's awesome sports car, her dirt bike, her vintage bicycle, urban and soccer photos. The results were some stunning images that were instantly some of my favorites ever, hence one of them becoming the cover of my Senior Client Guide for next year. I hope you enjoy looking through the images from Tristen's two #oppsenior sessions!
