For our final model shoot, the 2018 #OPPSenior Model Team and I went to the Texas Discovery Gardens to interact with the butterflies. Unfortunatley, it ended up being a rainy, grey day, so the images were not exactly what I had planned. It also didn’t help that I forgot to pack a modifier for the strobe! But, in true OPP fashion, we scrapped the original plan, grabbed our backup Rotolight and MADE IT WORK! What resulted is a group of photos that are a diversion from my normal style of sharp contrast with a bright subject. These are more subtle, matte and truly beautiful. It turns out that Meghan is “the butterly whisperer” as well!
