Off the Beaten Path

Last weekend I had a client who wanted to do his session in Deep Ellum. This is a common ask and a location I frequent both for work and play. However, this particular Sunday was the most crowded I have seen Deep Ellum in my entire life. It was like 6th street during SXSW! To avoid any issues with the equipment we were carrying and to reduce the anxiety for my client, we decided to go onto some streets and back alleys that I have never used for a session and the results were awesome. New textures, new backdrops and the gritty, urban feel that Deep Ellum used to provide before the developers got there hands on it and made it look like Uptown. I am very pleased with the results and hope you like them too!
