Fashion Photography @ Texas School

I had the privilege of attending Steve Ellinger's class, "The Fashionable Side of Photography", at Texas School 2019. We heard from model agency heads, hair and makeup artists, stylists, working fashion models and of course Steve Ellinger about what it takes to be a fashion photographer, specifically in the Dallas market. We learned what agencies look for when finding new talent, what they want in test shots and how to approach agencies to create images for their models.

In addition to the lectures, we also shot professionally styled models every day. It was exhausting, but I think the finished images prove it was totally worth it!
