Optical Poetry Wins International Recognition in Senior Year Magazine’s HOT 100

I am beyond thrilled to share some exciting news with y'all—Optical Poetry has been named one of the winners in Senior Year Magazine’s HOT 100 contest for 2025!

This annual competition celebrates the best high school senior photographers across the globe, and I am honored to be recognized among such an incredible group of artists. The award highlights creativity, technical skill, and the ability to tell each senior’s story in a truly unique way—something I pour my heart into with every session.

Even more special, Optical Poetry also received the Community Choice Award, voted on by photographers from all over the country. This means my amazing colleagues took the time to show their support, and I am so grateful.

From the perfectly candid laughs to the once-in-a-lifetime cap-and-gown moments, this recognition is as much about the incredible seniors I get to photograph as it is about the images themselves.
